Interaction
So, the Image provides the passengers with information. But how do the passengers communicate with the vehicle? How do you instruct the machine? With your voice, or by touching and how do you know you’ve been heard and understood? We facilitate the collaboration of man and machine by providing an interactive surface. This results in safety on the road. Nothing happens by chance, and you will get feedback from your car about your actions.
Touch
Everybody is used to working with a touchscreen. This is not a new technique, but we strive to always deliver the best touch modules possible. Integrating the touch module in the display makes Innolux’s TOD technology an excellent automotive solution for thin and light weight displays. Reflection is reduced by using less layers in the optical stack.
Force sensing
Force sensing is exactly what it says. The display module can feel how hard you push down on the screen. This prevents a machine from acting to fast or it can be used to integrate a secondary command.
Proximity

Haptic
Feeling is an emotion, The feel of a material or surface provides a sense of quality, robustness or exclusivity. Brand identity is formed by feelings that are assosiated with a brand. That is what we can offer with haptic feedback. Not only can we make the screen vibrate to mimic the sense of a tactile button, we can recreate the feel of an actual surface structure.
